BSP Finance Ltd sponsors Frigates United FC with SBD 10,000 cheque

In preparation to the 2023 SP Games, BSP Finance SI Limited sponsored Frigates United FC with a cheque for SBD 10,000.00. BSP Finance assisted Frigates United last year (2021) with BSP Go Green T’Shirts and Caps for the team’s training uniforms.

Frigates United FC is a new Football team made up of young women participating in the SIFF run competition (Solrais Women’s Premiere League) in Honiara. The vision of the club is to mould and empower young women through football.

This year, 4 of Frigates United FC women were chosen by SIFF to participate in the Women’s Oceania Football Confederation in Fiji - namely Jemina David, Corrina Rotaova, Hilda Misitana and Lorina Solosaia. The women were accompanied by Frigates Team Manager, Liela Fox Folomae.
